Choose where to work
Use the browser to record, watch and download a take. You can also save finished videos online if your plan allows it. Use the Mac app to edit and polish your video.
Its script shows the written words from your recording. You can use those words to find parts you want to change. The full Mac editor is not in the public browser app.
Try a short recording
Start with one simple task that takes less than a minute. This lets you check the whole process before a longer take.
- Open the recorder at app.screencandy.online on a supported desktop browser.
- Choose the tab, window or screen you want to show.
- Check that the preview shows the right picture.
- Turn on the microphone if you want to record your voice.
- Press Start recording.
- Wait for the countdown to finish.
- Explain the task.
- Press Stop & save when you are done.
- Play the result with sound.
- Use Download a copy to keep the recording.
Finish it on your Mac
Open the downloaded recording in the Mac app. Check the script for wrong or missing words. Try a small edit before changing the whole video.
Watch any Auto Polish changes before you keep them. Check the subtitles against what you said. Then save the finished video as an MP4 file.
Open that file to check the result.
Share the right copy
Online saving depends on your plan and space left in your account. Wait until the finished video plays in your online library. Then make a viewing link if you want to share it.
Keep your original file and Mac project for later changes. A local file does not prove the online save has finished.
