Where things stand.
A useful beta. A clear picture.
ScreenCandy is in beta, which means it is an early version. We are working toward one goal: a polished tutorial video from a natural explanation. Here is what you can use today.
Record in the browser. Finish on Mac.
Use the browser to record, watch and download a video. Save and share online if your plan includes it. Use the Mac app to edit through written words, review Auto Polish and finish videos. Recording choices depend on your browser and device.
Watch before you send.
Written speech and automatic edits can contain mistakes. Play the video with sound and check its subtitles. Keep the edits that make your full explanation clear. Changing written text does not create new speech.
Online libraries hold finished copies.
If your plan includes it, save finished videos online and make viewing links. Full editable Mac projects do not yet move between Mac and browser. Keep the project and video files you may need later.
Start with a short test.
Before an important recording, check the picture and sound with a short test. Browsers and devices can work differently. Longer recordings and broken sessions still need more beta testing. A short test cannot promise every later recording will work.
Some ideas are still ahead.
New AI speech, replacement speech and full browser editing are not available yet. Editable projects do not yet move between Mac and browser. See the Roadmap for work in progress and ideas we are exploring.
Paid plans are coming soon.
There is no paid plan to buy from this website today. We will share prices and plan limits before paid launch. Check your current access in the app. Email hello@screencandy.online if you need help understanding it.
