Check your plan and space

Online saving needs a signed-in account with a plan that allows it. There must also be space left in your account. A new account does not by itself include online saving.

The beta has file and storage limits. Check the messages shown by your own app. Keep your original recording or finished file during the whole save.

Save from the browser

Use a completed browser take or choose a finished file in the library.

  1. Check that you are signed into the right account.
  2. Choose the video.
  3. Check its name.
  4. Use Save video.
  5. Review the save message.
  6. Keep the tab open while saving is in progress.
  7. Wait for the app to confirm the save has finished.
  8. Open the finished video from the online library.
  9. Play it before making a viewing link.

Check an automatic save too

If Save video was on before a browser take, the app can try saving after Stop. You still need to check the final result. A paused save or progress bar does not prove the video is online.

The Mac app also has private saving and sharing tools. Settle any edit preview before using them. Wait for that exact edit to finish uploading.

A later Mac edit does not prove an older shared copy has changed.

If saving does not finish

Read the message to find the next step. A plan limit, lack of space and lost connection need different fixes. Use the existing save’s retry action before starting again.

If the account changed, return to the account that began the save. Keep or download the local file before clearing browser data. If it fails again, email the team the message and file size.

Say whether the local file plays. Leave private media out of that first email.
