Email the team
Contact the ScreenCandy development team at hello@screencandy.online. Ask about the beta, a problem, access or a new idea. The contact link opens your email app.
It does not create a ticket or open a live chat. There is no guaranteed reply time listed here. You do not need to know the cause of a problem to report it.
A clear description helps the team find the right next step.
Describe the problem
Include the details you know. Short notes are fine.
- Say whether you used the browser, Mac app, library or viewing link.
- Describe the task you were trying to finish.
- List the steps that led to the problem.
- Say what you expected and what happened instead.
- Include your device, system version and browser or app version.
- Give the rough time and any safe error text.
- For a video issue, give its type, size and length.
- Say whether the local file plays.
- List which copies you still have.
Keep the first message safe
Leave out passwords, private keys, email codes and reset links. Do not attach a private recording in your first message. Viewing links and temporary playback links can give access to the video.
Leave them out unless the team has arranged a safe way to help. If you add a screenshot, check the whole image for private details. Remove anything the team does not need to see.
For an idea or access question
Explain what you record and who needs to watch it. Say which step is hard and what would make it easier. For access or storage questions, quote the message shown by the app.
Do not assume that signing up includes free or paid storage. Keep your original files and recovery copies while waiting for help. You do not need to delete a project or make another account to email the team.
Need another pair of eyes?
Tell our team what you tried and what went wrong. Do not send passwords, private links or personal recordings.
